To further enhance the overall trading experience and optimize the trading environment, we will implement a Dynamic Leverage mechanism during News Events and Market Opening & Closing Periods.
This mechanism will be introduced in phases starting from 19 March 2026, with full implementation across all servers and clients by 20 March 2026.
Under this mechanism, leverage for newly opened positions may be temporarily reduced during specified high-risk periods. Once the affected period ends, leverage will revert to the original setting. This adjustment applies only to products with leverage exceeding the specified thresholds.
Implementation Details
Effective Dates: EOD of 18–19 March 2026 (Phased Rollout)
Servers: All Servers (full rollout by 20 March 2026)
Applicable Products: Forex, Gold, Silver, Oil, Indices, Commodities
Applicable Clients: All account types
Affected Periods
- During Major News Releases
(From 15 minutes before to 5 minutes after the announcement)
• USD-related news
Products: Gold, Silver, Forex, Indices, Commodities
• Oil-related news
Products: Oil, Commodities
• Other countries’ news
Products: Forex - Market Opening & Closing Periods
• Fridays: 3 hours before market close
• Monday–Thursday: 30 minutes before market close
• Mondays: 30 minutes after market opens
Products: Forex, Gold, Silver, Oil, Indices, Commodities
Leverage During Affected Periods
• Forex: 1:200
• Oil: 1:20
• Gold: 1:200
• Silver: 1:50
• Commodities: 1:5 (including XPT and XPD)
• Indices: 1:50
Applicable Market Events
This mechanism applies to major economic events, including (but not limited to):
• USD-related events: FOMC Interest Rate Decisions, CPI, PMI, NMI, PPI, GDP, PCE, Retail Sales, NFP, ADP
• Oil-related events: Crude Oil Inventories
• Other countries’ events: Key economic indicators such as CPI, PMI, GDP

• The leverage adjustment applies only to newly opened positions during the affected periods.
• Existing positions will not be affected.
• Clients are strongly advised to monitor their positions and ensure sufficient margin to avoid potential margin calls or stop-outs.
• Please take this mechanism into account when planning your trading strategies, especially during high-volatility periods.
